With less than a week to go until the big day I am now concentrating on the rest and recovery part of my training. I ran a slow half marathon on Saturday and I’ll run with the BRATs on Monday evening as a last effort but apart from my usual cycle to work I don’t be doing too much training and concentrating on making sure that I am eating correctly and plenty of stretching.
The BBC have a good article on meal plans in the week before a marathon and I’ll be basing my eating habits on that to try and make sure I’m in peak physical shape.
