Iguazú Falls

I met up with Jorge and Marta at Iguazú Falls, they apparently the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, and the sheer amount of water coming down them is impressive. The heat was intense, and after my first day there I was beetroot red.

There are an abundance of animals at Iguazú as apart from being an enormous tourist trap it is also a major national park that crosses three borders, Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. You get the best views of the falls from the Argentine side.

We managed to see a lot of different animals including Coatis, Parrots, a canary, a toucan, and lots of large rat type things [I´ll post pics of these when I find them]. This area of forest used to cover 1000,000 square kilometers now it only covers 60,000 and that in patches.
