The last couple of weeks I’ve been hammering out the long runs, 21.5 miles is longer than suggested for marathon training but psychologically I find it comforting to have trained beyond 20 miles.
Thankyou to all those people who have sponsored me so far, I’m now over a third of the way to my target with a number of people promising to ‘pay per mile’.
The video below is the route I took Saturday 5th May it turned out to be a little short of the 8min/mile pace I’m aiming for but as it included 280m of uphill i’m not too worried. From here on in the training gets easier to ensure I’m fully recovered for the big day itself.
